"Faith" came to SCRAF severely starved! SCRAF carefully designed a developmental nutritional & conditioning program to carefully redevelop her gradually to where she is now happy and healthy, well trained and ready for her forever family.
"Jack" is a survivor of the 2017 San Luis Rey Fires, and is something special, not to mention a looker. When Jack came to SCRAF he was lame & needing rehab. With the help and patience of staff he is now sound and beginning SCRAF's training program. If your interested in sponsoring him contact the ranch.
"RedHot" came to SCRAF with pancake flat hooves! SCRAF & our farrier have been working for several months to give him the support he needed. He is currently in our training program & is anxiously waiting at the gate of his pasture for a kid to come groom him! We anticipate he will be ready for his forever family this spring.
"Star" is a 14.2 appy mare born in 2002. "Star" was one of the pregnant PMU mares we rescued in 2005 & she wasn't ready to be a mama yet but loves children and is so easy to ride! She has spent these past several years being an Amazing Pony Club horse and has WON in the hunter ring. She is ready for her own kid or petite adult to love her forever.
"Sir Prize" is a handsome Thoroughbred colt who's mama came to us because she was going to be euthanized as she was considered an "old broodmare".
But they didn't know that she was pregnant! A few months later, she surprised us with a beautiful colt. "Sir Prize" is now also part of SCRAF as he grows up!
"Oak" info coming soon
